Having movies and TV shows to watch about those who work in creative industries can help you know what to expect when working in that industry. However, it can be hard to find entertainment to relate to as most movies and shows we watch about our industries feature men more than women, making us feel underrepresented in our industries and not addressing issues that women have in and when entering those fields. Here is a list of dramatic, comedic, and documentary movies and tv shows that feature bad-ass women, their issues, and how they got where they are. I hope this list inspires you, uplifts you, and shows you that we can and deserve to be in creative industries too. ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● Journalism, Advertising, and Communications: The Devil Wears Prada Bad-ass Women featured: Andy Sachs, Miranda Priestly.
